Review
Auto Web Browser is a handy application that allows you to download any content you desire from multiple search engines directly to your computer. You just need to enter the keywords and the program automatically surfs the net downloading websites that contain your keywords as well as other potentially interesting pages that were linked from the search engine results. The user interface of the program is not very intuitive nor attractive, but the main windows list the steps you need to follow to use the program successfully. In case you need more help, you can also consult its help file which contains all the necessary information. Once you enter the keywords, you have to press GO, and it starts downloading pages. They will all appear in the left side of the program in a tree view and by search engine. When you click on any of the result, the program will open the website so you can read the information contained. Another feature of the program is the ability to preload a list of URLs that the user may provide to browse them through more easily and fast or to exclude them from the search. The program is highly customizable and the user can select the desired search engines and also stop and resume the search whenever wanted. |
